At the age of 20, Johnnie Mikel has accomplished what some young artists only dream about.  In October of 2017, he released his first single, “Come With Me” co-written with pop songwriting icons, Lindy Robbins and Damon Sharpe.  The song was serviced to radio and garnered impressive Media Base Chart numbers, bolstered Spotify streams, helped to secure a Pandora Monthly Artist feature and put him on the radar for write ups in online blogs Hollywood Life, Pop Dust, Celeb Secrets and others.

The release of his second single, “Friday Night”, proved that people were listening and taking notice this independent artist with a promising career.  Superstar remixers Sak Noel, Dave Aude, Richard Vission (KIIS FM) and Mauro Mozart created catchy club mixes for the song, giving Johnnie his first song in rotation on Sirius XM’s Venus and landing the song at #11 on the Billboard Dance Charts.

2019 promises to be even bigger for this talented and versatile artist with the release of his new EP, “Revolution”.   This body of work has Johnnie exploring his edgier side with pop songs infused with rock elements that showcase who he truly is: a young man with a powerful message.  Each song shows the artist taking more control of what he wants to say and share with the world.

It is only the beginning for Johnnie as we expect his career to skyrocket in the months to come.  He already has a very impressive resume so expect even more to come from this bright, young artist in the months ahead.
